PRESS RELEASE: 2NS has been accepted as a NATO supplier for the BOA program

Information security company 2NS (Second Nature Security Oy) has been approved as a supplier to the NATO BOA program. Participation in the program enables participation in all procurements of NATO and its member countries made through it. Access to the BOA program (Basic Ordering Agreement) required the approval of NATO and the Finnish authorities after thorough investigations.

An opportunity to grow internationally

Participating in the NATO program is an opportunity to export top-level domestic information security and IT expertise to Finland’s newly allied countries.

– We see Finland’s role in the defense alliance as an opportunity to export top-class domestic cyber expertise to our allies. The Finnish cyber sector and the IT sector have a lot to give to NATO and its member countries. We are proud that we have been accepted as NATO’s supplier after a thorough review, says 2NS CEO Mika Holmberg.

The selection was preceded by a months-long security process in which 2NS received support from the Finnish security authorities. Final selection into the BOA program required the approval of both NATO and Finnish authorities.

NATO’s BOA program gives NATO and its member countries the opportunity to fully utilize the services of the companies participating in the program.

– International assignments are an interesting and huge opportunity for our company. We strongly believe in our potential to offer new capabilities to NATO and its member countries, says 2NS technology director Juho Ranta.

2NS, which develops the cyber security of companies and communities, has carried out thousands of successful cyber security projects and serves hundreds of customers at home and abroad every year.
